Cale Mathers - AMS® #1156
SAMS® Accredited Marine Surveyor®
I began my career working for the family business, Mathers Controls, Inc. We manufactured electronic & pneumatic control systems for both the commercial & pleasure boat applications. After 50 years in business we were acquired by ZF Marine. My marine survey career began shortly after when I partnered with my father, Chris Mathers SAMS® AMS®, to start Mathers Marine Survey. For several years my father and I worked side by side learning from one another as we developed a foothold in the profession. Mathers Marine Survey LLC is proud to carry on the legacy of the family name, and continually strives for excellence.
As an active member of the SAMS® organization (Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors) (www.MarineSurvey.org) I take pride in my compliance with their Code of Ethics & Continuing Education requirements. It is my foremost priority to maintain & build upon the reputation my family name has built within the industry over the last 65 years. Mathers Marine Survey LLC is committed to enhancing the profession of Marine Survey by: conducting business in a professional manner, maintaining & enhancing knowledge & expertise, preserving integrity & objectivity, and avoiding prejudice & conflict of interest.

Chris Mathers - 2/22/1953 - 12/28/2011
After serving in the Navy as an Air Traffic Controller in Hawaii and the Philippines, Chris joined his father Harold as business partners in a young and thriving company - Mathers Controls Inc.

Chris became ill with Esophageal Cancer and passed away in December of 2011. He lived his life to the fullest up until his last days. He was an avid fisherman, hunting enthusiast, alpine skier, and performance driving instructor. There is nothing he enjoyed more than a calm morning on the water, cup of coffee in hand, as the sun rises on the horizon..
